We’d like to take this opportunity here at Fine Lines HQ to welcome new full time members Chris Lee (pedal steel) and Jim Broughton (bass) to the Fine Lines family. Chris added his wonderful musicianship to ‘Gaslight Roses’ bringing a lovely country flavour to songs such as ‘Sunday Morning, Coming Down’ and ‘Buy the World a Drink’ while Jim has, for the last 2 years, acted as the band’s de facto sound man. We’re delighted to have them on board full time and looking forward to the future as a seven piece!
2019 has been an incredible journey for our dear friend and bandmate Mark Radcliffe, who, after recovering from cancer earlier in the year, has now been honoured by the BBC for 40 years service to broadcasting! And what an incredible career it’s been! He was presented with his surprise award at the BBC Folk Awards in Manchester this month by folk legend and gentleman Ralph McTell. Congratulations Mark and here’s to many more!
We’re delighted to announce our debut show in the capital on 17th November at The Slaughtered Lamb! We can’t wait to play this fantastic venue and hope to see a few of you there. Tickets can be purchased here.
We’re delighted to be playing again in our hometown of Knutsford returning to the Little Theatre on October 12th. This will be a full band performance featuring tracks from new album ‘Gaslight Roses’ plus a few surprises! Special guests to be announced soon. Tickets can be bought here
After a very busy period lately for the band, including a hugely successful appearance at Pub in the Park Knutsford in June, it’s nice to get these fantastic images as a reminder courtesy of ace photographers Jonathan Farber and Andrew Twambley. Check out the Gallery page for full selection.
