The Magnificent Seven!
We’d like to take this opportunity here at Fine Lines HQ to welcome new full time members Chris Lee (pedal steel) and Jim Broughton (bass) to the Fine Lines family. Chris added his wonderful musicianship to ‘Gaslight Roses’ bringing a lovely country flavour to songs such as ‘Sunday Morning, Coming Down’ and ‘Buy the World a Drink’ while Jim has, for the last 2 years, acted as the band’s de facto sound man. We’re delighted to have them on board full time and looking forward to the future as a seven piece!
Life Begins at 40!
2019 has been an incredible journey for our dear friend and bandmate Mark Radcliffe, who, after recovering from cancer earlier in the year, has now been honoured by the BBC for 40 years service to broadcasting! And what an incredible career it’s been! He was presented with his surprise award at the BBC Folk Awards in Manchester this month by folk legend and gentleman Ralph McTell. Congratulations Mark and here’s to many more!
