‘Del Rio’ out now!

May 8, 2021 By David Boardman

We’re delighted to bring you our latest single ‘Del Rio’. Taken from the forthcoming album ‘Deadbeat Lullabies’, the track is another Boardman/Radcliffe composition and was produced by Jake Evans at Big Red studios in Macclesfield Cheshire. The original lyric was almost 30 years old but was set to music two years ago by David whilst on holiday in Spain. Although the original inspiration was Mirador Del Rio, a beauty spot in Lanzarote, it more closely evokes the lonestar state of Texas with keening pedal steel and country fiddle! We recently filmed an accompanying video with Neil McCartney of Merry Hell behind the lens. We hope you enjoy it!

Live From The Edge

April 30, 2021 By David Boardman

This Sunday (2nd May) we are delighted to bring you our live set recorded at The Edge Studios near Capesthorne Hall in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. This series of livestreams has been organised by studio owner and renowned sound engineer John Delf and it was a privilege to be invited to record there and work with such a talented crew. Our 40 minute set gave us an opportunity to present some of the new songs from the forthcoming album Deadbeat Lullabies including King of the Three Streets and next single Del Rio in amongst some old favourites. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed recording it. Tickets go on sale via this link at 7pm.
